Welcome Back to BElmont Hill!

To help your family stay informed and prepared for the upcoming school year, please review the resources below.

Over the summer, we encourage you to reference this page, which we will continue to update. Look for our next major update in early August in preparation for the start of the 2026/2027 school year.

Health Forms

During the week of July 6, Parents and Guardians will receive an email communication from Emi White, Belmont Hill’s Director of Health Services, regarding school year health requirements and health policies. This letter will include information on completing your son’s online Magnus Health Forms, the ImPACT Concussion Baseline Assessment, and guidelines on attendance, food allergy management at Belmont Hill, and the school illness policy.

If your son is new to Belmont Hill, or a member of the Class of 2030 or 2028, they will receive direct communication to their student email accounts from Ms. White with detailed instructions for completing the at-home ImPACT Concussion Baseline Assessment. They must complete this test prior to the start of the Fall Athletic season.

All required health information is due by Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Student Email Accounts

All new and returning students have active Belmont Hill email accounts. (New students received their email credentials during spring placement testing). We encourage students to check their inboxes regularly, as coaches and teachers may send updates throughout the summer. If your student experiences any technical issues, please contact Dan Butler in the IT Department at butler@belmonthill.org.

Summer Reading

Our faculty have put together a thoughtful summer reading program. Please review the Summer Reading guidelines and requirements, which were sent in the spring. Students receiving financial aid can contact financialaid@belmonthill.org to receive assistance in purchasing summer reading books.

Technology: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy

Students are required to bring an approved device to campus each day. If you are considering purchasing a new device, or would like to confirm that your current one meets our specifications, please visit our BYOD Requirements and Recommendations resource. Belmont Hill will provide the necessary Microsoft software at the start of school. In addition, all students are required to have a TI-84 Plus CE 10 digit calculator.

Bus Transportation

Belmont Hill offers one-way and round-trip bus transportation to and from neighboring towns. Detailed routing and schedule information was emailed by Alex Dent on June 15. If you haven’t already, please review those details and register your son immediately. For further information and to register, visit the Veracross Parent Portal bus transportation page. If you have any questions, please contact Alex Dent at (617) 993-5256 or dent@belmonthill.org.

Course Schedules & Textbooks

Look for an update in early August from Dean of Studies Eric Smith regarding access to your student's 2026-27 academic schedule. We will also provide Instructions for ordering books through our preferred vendor, MBS (an authentication code will be provided at that time).

Financial Aid

For families receiving financial aid, the Office of Financial Aid sent a separate email in June and will send emails in the coming weeks. These messages outline details and instructions regarding purchasing information and processes for textbooks, summer reading, laptops, school attire, school supplies (including calculators), and more.

Music Lessons

In early August, Director of Instrumental Music Dan Fiori will send an email with registration, scheduling, and pricing information for Belmont Hill’s on-campus private music lesson offerings.

Athletics

Sport Placement:  At this time all new and returning students should have selected their Fall sport option. Returning students registered in May. New students registered during course placement. There is still flexibility in sport placement.  If you are a new student and did not register for a Fall sport and/or if you (as a new or returning student) have questions about Fall sport placement please contact Assistant Athletic Director Andy Davis at: adavis@belmonthill.org.

First Day of Middle School and Non Varsity Sports:  For all middle school and non-varsity student athletes the first day of practice will be on the first day of classes (September 1, 2026).

Varsity Athletics: For students in Forms III-VI interested in trying out for a varsity sport in the Fall (cross country, football, or soccer) please stay tuned for upcoming communications from coaches regarding tryouts and preseason schedules (students remember to check your Belmont Hill email!). If you are a new student and would like to connect with the varsity coach (and have not done so already) please feel free to do so directly.
