Students' Vast Musical Talents on Display at the Virtual Winter Concert

During the final week of what has been a notably difficult winter season, Belmont Hill's music ensembles brought cheer to the school community with a dynamic and energetic virtual concert.
Undaunted by the COVID restrictions our musicians have grown accustomed to this year, these boys rallied together to rehearse over Zoom and then recorded their various selections remotely, each alone with his camera. Despite the challenges of remote music-making, the resulting concert video is full, eclectic, and highly entertaining. You can view the concert in the "Featured Video" box on our homepage.
This showcase video features ensemble and solo performances by members of the Belmont Hill Orchestra, Middle School Jazz Ensemble, Upper School Jazz Ensemble, Cello Ensemble, and B-Flats. Please enjoy their renditions of music by Edvard Grieg, Josef Zawinul, Freddie Hubbard, Lennon/McCartney, and more!
Vocal solo and ensemble performances led by:
Donnell Patterson, Director of Music
Instrumental ensembles and video production by:
Dan Fiori, Director of Instrumental Music, and
Meghan Carye, Assistant Orchestra Conductor
