Class President Timmy McCormack '21 Addresses Classmates

Following a long school tradition, Class President Timmy McCormack '21 addressed his classmates on Friday, speaking in the Chapel via live stream.

Timmy began by telling his classmates that he was grateful and excited to be leading the School. He welcomed all new students and faculty and expressed that he looked forward to meeting them. He took some time to reflect on spending the last five months in quarantine and reflected also on his five years on the Hill. He noted that it was the small day-to-day interactions that make Belmont Hill such a special place and bring the most joy.

Using a brilliant analogy to describe his Belmont Hill experience, Timmy compared it to the recent Michael Jordan documentary "The Last Dance." Throughout the speech, his deep affection for Belmont Hill was clearly evident, and he, and indeed all the students, seem especially grateful to be here after having been through so much.

You can enjoy Timmy's speech in its entirety in the above video.
