Fun, Competition at Annual Greek & Roman Field Day

It is always one of the most eagerly anticipated days of the year.

Greek & Roman Field Day always provides a wonderfully entertaining event for all involved, and this year's edition certainly did not disappoint.  After a greeting from Mr. Richards, First Form students began the competition.  Student orations, judging of chariots, and events such as a 200-meter run; and an "armored" relay, in which students ran and handed off backpacks filled with Latin books to teammates, and moose run got the event going. Inside, the boys performed video skits and took quizzes. Then, after lunch it was back outside for more events including the egg toss and Frisbee toss, leading to the chariot race and tug-of-war. All teams performed admirably, but at the end of the day, Mr. Holland's team emerged as the victors.
