Stunning Alumni Woodwork Show on Display in Landau

A stunning display of woodwork featured in Landau Gallery right now is all the more incredible in that all the work is by Belmont Hill alumni.

Art Department Chair Steven Kaplan '83 calls the show a once in a lifetime event featuring his former students.  He got the idea for the show a year ago as he was approaching his 25th year of teaching on the Hill.  He wanted to pay tribute to some of the work these students have produced through the years.

The show is open to the public right now, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.  There will be a reception Reunion Weekend, May 17 from 4pm-6pm in Landau.   The show features the work of Andy Davis '07, Cole Durbin '14, Josh Fischer '15, Matt Gordon '06, Kyle Gordon '07, Greg Karelitz '09, Chris Morrissey '05, Drew Morrissey '14, Todd J. Paratore '97, Christo Wood '96, and Peter Yanofsky '10. Mr. Kaplan is quick to point out there are many other artists who could not be part of the show for logistical reasons but whose work is equally extraordinary.

Please enjoy the video featuring the woodwork and come to see the show.
