Wonderfully Eclectic Musical Performances at Coffeehouse

The recent Coffeehouse held in Kraft Theater on the last day of November provided a wonderful showcase of the vast array of musical talent on the Hill.

In addition to student performers, the crowd was also treated to performances by Head of School Greg Schneider.

The evening opened with a performance by the Middle School Rock Band doing "Whatever It Takes" by Imagine Dragons and "Campus" by Vampire Weekend. Ben Guenther then did a solo version of "Pompeii" by Bastille. Mr. Schneider then took the stage with Joe Goguen and Brodie Rayment to perform Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man." Kailen Richards and Renny Gong teamed up for a stirring version of "Changes" by XXXTentacion, followed by Dietrich Jacobs performing Ed Sheeran's "A Parting Glass."

Mr. Schneider then performed solo renditions of Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice It's Alright," and "Shelter" by Ray Lamontagne. Renny Gong then returned, this time with TJ Cannistraro to perform "Burning" by Sam Smith. Howard Huang and Arec Keomurjian followed with an instrumental version of Cold Play's "Vida la Vida." The Upper School Rock Band closed the evening with the Rolling Stones classic "Beast of Burden."

On Friday, December 7, please join us in Hamilton Chapel at 7:00 for the Winter Concert.
