3A Soccer Team Pitches in with an Assist

On a Thursday afternoon, the 3A Soccer team, along with coaches Steffey, Fast, Leonardis, and Fritz, spent the afternoon helping with several helpful jobs at the Mount Hope Church in Belmont. Through Belmont Hill’s extracurricular group Work Crew, Mrs. David lined up the students with a request made by a parishioner at Mount Hope. The team assembled 35 chairs, raked, cleaned out an attic, and helped move items into an attic for storage. Mr. Steffey reported that, “It was a great afternoon of important work to the community.”
