Track Team Wins ISL and New England Championships

The Belmont Hill track team continued its distinguished championship run as the team once again took home two championship trophies in the spring, defending its Independent School League title, and defending the New England Division II title by sharing the victory with Berkshire School.
The squad has won the New England title five consecutive years now, and the ISL title seven times in the past 12 years.

This year’s team set five school records and won five events at each of the championship meets. Depth once again proved to be essential, as many of the team points were garnered from 2nd – 6th place finishers. Of the 34 different events in the two championship meets, Belmont Hill managed a top-six finish in 28 of them. The boys will look forward to defending its two team titles in the upcoming 2019 campaign.
