The Coach
Jorge Montoya is a graduate of Boston College where he played varsity soccer for four years and was team captain in his senior year. After college, Coach Montoya continued his soccer career playing seven seasons professionally as well as captaining the Boston Bolts. He also holds a USSF A coaching license. During Coach Montoya's 25 seasons at Belmont Hill, he has taken the team to the NE Prep-school A tournament 14 times. His coaching record stands at 301-103-71. On November 7, 2018, Coach Montoya reached his 300th coaching career win.
Over the past four seasons, Belmont Hill soccer players have gone on to compete at the following schools: Cornell University, Colby College, Bowdoin College, Northeastern University, Haverford College, Kenyon College, and Occidental College.

Meet the Coaches
Meet the Coaches

Mr. Bracken, an alumnus of Belmont Hill's Class of 2015, joined Belmont Hill's faculty in 2019. He graduated from Yale College where he double majored in History and Classics. He was also a staff reporter and sports editor for Yale Daily News. While at Belmont Hill, Mr. Bracken founded Model United Nations and The Podium, a social sciences journal.
Mr. Bracken teaches History 1, AP European History, and AP US History. He also coaches varsity soccer and fifth basketball.

Mr. Holland is the Senior Associate Director of Admission. In addition, he teaches Facing History, History 1, and World Issues. He is an assistant coach for Varsity Soccer and Third Track.

Mr. Montoya came to Belmont Hill in 1993. He teaches Form I Spanish, Spanish 1, Spanish 2 and Spanish 5. He serves as head coach of the Varsity Soccer team, and was named Independent School League (ISL) Coach of the Year for 2008. He also coaches Third Squash and Third Form Track.
