The Coach 

Craig Schneider is the Head Varsity Soccer Coach at Belmont Hill School. A former All-State player and four-year starter and captain at Trinity College, Schneider brings a strong playing background and a passion for developing student-athletes. After serving as Belmont Hill's JV coach and as a current science faculty member, he was promoted to lead the varsity program. Schneider is committed to building on the team's tradition of excellence while helping players grow on and off the field through hard work, teamwork, and a love for the game.

The Program

Coach Montoya previously led the Varsity Soccer program at Belmont Hill since 1993. During his 31 seasons at Belmont Hill, he has taken the team to the NE Prep School A Tournament 15 times and captured 5 ISL Championships. His overall coaching record stands at 340-124-84. As the Head Coach at Belmont Hill, he captured his 300th varsity soccer win for the School on November 1, 2023. In 2024, He was selected by NEPSAC as the Coach of the Year.

Over the past four seasons, Belmont Hill soccer players have gone on to compete at the following schools: Cornell University, Colby College, Bowdoin College, Northeastern University, Haverford College, Kenyon College, Occidental College, Union College, and UNH.
