Varsity Cross Country

 

The Coach

Coach Tyson Trautz is in his eleventh year as varsity coach after seven years as assistant varsity coach and two years guiding the Middle School team. 

At Cheverus High School in Maine, Coach Trautz ran all three seasons: cross country, indoor, and outdoor track. He ran 12 seasons in all, and 11 were state championships. He has run marathons (most recently in 2010) and half marathons as well as countless races. He is a former Maine state champion in the mile and the two-mile.

Coach Trautz teaches Marine Biology, Science 2, and AP Environmental Science.

The Program

The team won ISL titles in 2010 and 2016. Seven team members have gone on to run cross country in college during Coach Trautz's tenure.
