Yes, Belmont Hill Summer School is coeducational.

Intimate class sizes are an important part of our summer school program. Three-week workshops are limited to 12 students and six-week credit courses are limited to 16 students.

Yes. All Credit Courses receive letter grades and all Workshops receive a Pass/Fail grade. Students will receive teacher comments in all classes.

No, all students are expected to bring their own lunch. Students will not have access to refrigerators or microwaves so all meals should be stored safely in a lunch box and ready to eat. 

Dress at Summer School is informal, but should be neat, clean, and appropriate.

While it may be necessary for parents to assist students on the first day of classes, the campus is reserved for students and faculty of the Summer School only. We are unable to provide waiting areas, office space, or Wi-Fi connections. Parents, guardians, or friends are asked to wait, if necessary, in nearby Arlington or Belmont Center.

Yes! Our Sport Camps offer a Strength & Conditioning program that aligns with C Block. You can learn more on our Sport Camps Registration Page. 

We offer classes for students who will be in grades 6-12 in the upcoming fall. For rising seniors, students cannot be older than 18 years old during their summer classes.

Belmont Hill Summer Academics requires students to bring a laptop or tablet to campus each day. Full details of the policy expectations and recommendations can be found in our Handbook, available upon the completion of registration.

At time of registration, payment in full is due. For Workshop Classes, $200 is nonrefundable and for Credit Courses, $400 is nonrefundable. After May 19, 2025, NO REFUNDS will be issued for changes in enrollment, withdrawal from school, or failure to attend.

If your student has not been studying in an English-speaking school for the last two years, please take an English-language proficiency test via TOEFL or IELTS prior to registering for summer programs to determine enrollment eligibility. Belmont Hill Summer School’s TOEFL code is D162. We require that a parent or guardian is present in the US and that they are on the account with an email, U.S. phone number and address. Failure to comply with this policy can result in the student's withdrawal from the program with no refund provided.

If a student enrolls but is unable to actively participate due to a language insufficiency, the student will be withdrawn with no refund provided. This will be determined by their Teacher and/or Administrator in their first week of classes. 

Belmont Hill Summer Academics only accepts registrations by individual families who have a presence in Massachusetts, with domestic phone numbers and local addresses. Group registration is prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy can result in the student's withdrawal from the program with no refund provided.
