Junior Tommy Rupley has been named to The All-State Super 26 Football Team. The Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association selects its own All-State Team, with players needing nominations from their head coaches to be considered by the committee. The MHSFCA began selecting this team in 1996. The Super 26 Team is honored annually in a banquet style event, with the banquet and awards presented being co-sponsored by the MHSFCA and the Gridiron Club of Boston.
“Tommy is undoubtedly one of the best players not just in Massachusetts but all of the Northeast,” says Belmont Hill football coach Anthony Fucillo. Coach Fucillo adds that Tommy’s athleticism allows him to be very versatile and do things that many defensive lineman cannot do. “His character and work ethic are equal to his ability, which makes him a great player to coach. Tommy has earned every honor he has received and I’m sure it won’t be his last.”
Tommy was one of only three juniors to be named to this year's list. Click here to see the 2023 team.
