Three Belmont Hill Alumni Named to 2018 US Senior National Rowing Team

Three Belmont Hill alumni (Mike DiSanto '08, Andrew Reed '10, and Alexander Richards '14) have been named to the 2018 US Senior National Rowing Team that will compete at the World Championships in Bulgaria on September 9-16. 

Mike and Andrew will be in the 8+, and Alexander in the 4-. There doesn't appear to be any precedent in the modern era of rowing for this number of rowers from a single high school program to be on the team. Noting this extraordinary announcement, Belmont Hill Coach Chris Richards says, "I am really proud of the guys and of all the work they have put in to get themselves to this level."
