Strong Showing by Belmont Hill Robotics

Strong Showing by Belmont Hill Robotics

After a long day of competition, Belmont Hill's Upper School Robotics team gave a stellar 6-0 performance to seed 1st in qualifiers and make a strong semi-final run in brackets, to eventually take home 3rd overall. The team also was presented with the Excellence Award, the highest award given at Vex Robotics Competition tournaments signifying overall excellence in the robotics program.

With this award win, the Upper School Robotics team also advances to the Southern New England Regional Championship this February, to compete against the top 100 teams from across the region for a spot at the World Championships.

The Middle School Robotics team also gave a strong performance, going 4-1-1, and seeing 6th into brackets, to make it to the quarter-finals in only their second tournament ever. In a predominantly high school tournament, this bodes well for the future of Belmont Hill Robotics. And, just the previous week, Belmont Hill hosted its first-ever Robotics tournament on campus!
