Spring Woodbury’s Offer Inspiration and Laughter

Spring Woodbury’s Offer Inspiration and Laughter

The Belmont Hill community gathered in the Hamilton Chapel for a stirring, hilarious, and heartfelt round of the Woodbury Speaking Contest. While striking different tacts and tones, each speaker offered insights into a moment of reflection and growth, whether that came during a car ride, a game of HORSE, or a trip to the hospital.

The finalists included Will Achtmeyer ’26, Alex Tosi ’25, Thomas Sheehan ’25, Jordan Summers ’25, Maksim Roman ’25, and Brady Paquette ’25 whose speech was delivered via video. Special congratulations to the winner of the contest Alex Tosi, whose speech recounting the lead up to and fallout of a first kiss filled the Chapel with sympathy, laughter, and raucous applause.
