Middle Schoolers Cast a Spell in Fall Play

Middle Schoolers Cast a Spell in Fall Play

On November 7th and 8th, middle schoolers from Belmont Hill and Winsor came together for a comedy of magical mischief in their performances of How Not to be a Wizard

“Our Middle School Fall Production really showcased the incredible talent and hard work of our younger actors and theatre technicians,” said Chair of the Performing Arts Paul DiResta. “This incredibly silly and fun show brought us into a Harry Potter-esque universe, and in the style of a sitcom, detailed just how far the famous professors of a certain Witching and Wizarding School would go to hire a substitute teacher the day before the school year begins.”

The entire cast, including lead actors Max Bushey '29, Robert Popeo '30, and Joey Gallagher '30, captured the whimsical exuberance of the material while also demonstrating an impressive gift for quick-witted improvisation.
