Jake Kornmehl '24 Featured on WCVB TV for his Charitable Organization
Jake Kornmehl ’24 was recently featured on WCVB TV highlighting his work with Ice Cream Sunday (icecreamsunday.org) Jake started the organization as a 12-year-old to raise money by selling t-shirts and sweatshirts he designed so underprivileged children could bond with their families and guardians by enjoying an ice cream outing. He subsequently has transformed it into a 501(c)3 organization that has donated many thousands of dollars to multiple nonprofits that support food insecurity and education equity.
