Jack Dragoumanos ’26 and Isaac Novod ‘27 Become Three-Time All Americans

For the third consecutive year, wrestlers Jack Dragoumanos ’26 and Isaac Novod ’27 earned All American honors at the National Prep Championships. Held on February 21, 2026, at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, over 140 teams from around the country competed across the two-day tournament. Jack and Isaac’s performances capped off impressive seasons where both wrestlers also won their respective weight classes at the Graves-Kelsey Tournament and the New England Prep Tournament.

Led by Head Coach Don Bradley, Belmont Hill’s wrestling program has built a longstanding tradition of excellence with over 30 All Americans. Some of these decorated wrestlers now give back to the program as coaches, including Jeff Ott ’12, a four-time All American and champion, and George Sullivan ’07, one of the first Belmont Hill wrestlers to reach that landmark achievement. Because these coaches know firsthand how hard the national competition can be, they were all the more impressed by the seasons Jack and Isaac put together.

“For these two young men, their performance this season has solidified them among a rarefied class of wrestlers from Belmont Hill and the New England region,” Coach Ott said following the national tournament. “They both have progressed enormously over the past few years, demonstrating the competitive spirit of a true champion. They both have an unshakeable will to push through the hard things and they're just getting better!”

For Mr. Sullivan, Jack and Isaac’s success was a result of their daily approach over the course of the long season.“They've been remarkably consistent in their effort all season and have competed against some of the best competition in the country,” Mr. Sullivan said. “That tournament has only gotten more challenging in recent years, and to be an all-American three years in a row in that field is an incredible accomplishment. We're so proud of them.”

Coach Dave Leonardis, who won the National Prep Championship twice while a student at Blair Academy and has been instrumental in the development of so many Belmont Hill All Americans, celebrated Jack and Isaac as the embodiment of Belmont Hill’s exceptional program. “They work hard in practice every day, are coachable, take responsibility for their own success, are good teammates, and when they put their toe on the line to compete, they believe they should win,” Coach Leonardis said. “Because they have been able to do it, other kids on our team also believe that they can get on that podium.”
