Middle School Speaking Contest Features Outstanding Oratory Displays
Four First Form boys presented at the spring Middle School Speaking Contest and each should be proud of the poise, eloquence, and passion with which they spoke.
Thomas Danahy led off by reminiscing about his days playing "recess football." He was followed by Ben Gong who reflected on the ease--and difficulty--of making penalty kicks in soccer, with lessons learned from personal experience. Then Will Achtmeyer told a parable of the "untold fight between good and evil." Tiago Matos then closed by discussing his large, extended Brazilian family, and his special relationship with his younger brother.
Congratulations to the winners, Will Achtmeyer and Tiago Matos.
