Greek and Roman Field Day Held on a Spectacular Spring Day for the Class of 2029

The tradition of Form I Greek and Roman Field Day continued on a sun-drenched spring day, as the boys engaged in fierce competition marked by a great deal of fun. The annual contest for Form I bragging rights showed off the considerable talents of Belmont Hill's youngest students.

Greek and Roman Field Day serves as a significant milestone for Form I students, symbolizing their initiation into a tradition that resonates throughout their six-year tenure at Hill. The event is a spectacle of various activities, from student orations to meticulous evaluations of chariot craftsmanship, and time-honored contests such as the 200-meter dash and the "armored" relay, where participants shuttle heavy backpacks. Amidst the laughter and cheers, students partake in skits, quizzes, and classic pastimes like the egg toss and Frisbee throw, leading up to the climactic chariot race and the gripping tug-of-war. It's a day brimming with excitement and cherished memories that endure for years to come.
