Belmont Hill and Winsor once again joined forces to present a wonderful theater event in the form of two short plays: “Speed Date” and “Cut.”
“Speed Date” is set on Valentine’s Day and the pressure is on. Seventeen characters search for love in a round-robin games of speed dating. Everyone’s in on the action, and they’re desperate, chatty, needy, strange—and the clock is ticking!
“Cut” presents a group of actors who rehearse a play within a play. As plot complications multiply, the actors begin to forget who is playing whom and who is the real director. They can’t seem to remember who they really are, as opposed to the people they are playing in the various scripts. Then, things get confusing…
