Belmont Hill's all-school winter play "Explicit Permission" explores a boy's fateful decision to use AI while studying at a surprisingly familiar all-boys prep school. The hilarious play was actually written using ChatGPT.

Timothy is a typical misfit at Crestwood Academy, an all-boys prep school in New England-- "Go Squirrels!" After too many nights of procrastination, he decides to risk everything and attempts to use ChatGPT to write a play for his English class. What happens next might just change the course of his life, and challenge all to consider what's real, and what's original.
