STRATEGIC VISION
East Campus Project
Belmont Hill is excited to announce plans to develop its East Campus. As part of our campus plan for the future of the School, over the course of two decades, Belmont Hill has acquired a number of contiguous properties across the street from the Main Campus. While there is no plan to increase enrollment, over the next five to six years there is a need to provide on-site student parking, offer visitor parking for academic and athletic events, improve the flow of traffic in our upper parking lot off Marsh Street, and replace the existing Facilities Building with a purpose-designed structure.
Belmont Hill prepared an application for Design and Site Plan Review to address these needs for the construction of a new 7,000+/- square foot Facilities Building, the addition of approximately 150 parking spaces across campus in three lots, and changes to the configuration of off-street parking, screening, egress, utilities, drainage, and lighting.

Our School Emblem - Sextant
The sextant is an instrument for determining the angle between the horizon and a celestial body such as the sun, the moon, or a star. It is used in celestial navigation to determine latitude and longitude.
Dr. R. Heber Howe, our founding head of school, explained the significance of the sextant and why it was chosen as our emblem during a speech at the closing exercises of Belmont Hill on Friday, June 6, 1924.
