Impressive Summer School Artwork on Display

Summertime at Belmont Hill presents a much different atmosphere, as boys and girls from a wide variety of ages descend on the campus to participate in Summer School and Summer Camps. In Landau Gallery, the fruits of some of this work are on display. A very impressive selection of work can be seen from classes in photography, jewelry, pottery, cartooning, advanced art, drawing and painting, and oil painting. Chris Sweeney, director of Summer Camps and Steve Kaplan, director of the Summer School, both report that the summer programs are off to a very good start. The fields are filled with camps in junior sports, softball, baseball, lacrosse, strength and conditionaing, and soccer; and indoors with wrestling and basketball. Even in summertime, the Belmont Hill campus is alive with activity.
