Belmont Hill has long been regarded as one of the most successful athletic programs in New England.  Athletics at Belmont Hill are built upon the pillars of participation, development, and excellence.  All boys are required to participate in athletics, and with 16 interscholastic sports, 57 teams, over 700 athletic contests each year there are myriad opportunities for boys of various interest and skill levels. While some boys might arrive at Belmont Hill with vast competitive experience others might find the passion or skill for a particular game once they are here.  Our coaches, all of whom come directly from our faculty, focus intently on not only developing the skills inherent to each particular sport but also teaching the enduring life lessons of sport: teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance, and effort.  We hope our students develop both as young men and as athletes.
